A space traveler visiting Earth is subjected to all the dark experiences of being human and eventually loses hold of his/her own identity.

After meeting a young widow at a family party, a 21-year-old Turkish woman finds herself a new friend with which to bake chocolate cakes, dance at night, and voice the tragedies her family refuses to confront.

In the far future, a woman is selected to undergo a Great Becoming. As she is forced to choose what she will become, she realizes that someone people do not have to choose at all.
