Plot Summary
A witch bride, the second wife of the king, hates her stepson, the prince. The prince is a spoiled eleven-year-old boy. He complains, threatens to have the father punish the stepmother, and is rude to the staff. One day, the witch bride and prince have dinner together. The witch bride thinks back to her marriage with the king. She is not very pretty and wonders why he chose her as a wife.
Additionally, she thinks back to one of the king's demands, which was for her to love the prince. She decides it is impossible to love the prince and recalls her sinister experiences with the boy. The prince has a habit of killing animals, and she recently found a wall filled with the prince's murdered animals and a young girl's remains. She suspects the prince killed her.
During the dinner, the witch bride declares her hatred towards the boy, and the prince threatens to slash his wrists and blame it on the bride. The prince explains that she can't kill him as he'll come back and haunt her. Instead, the witch uses the bones in the wall to cast a magic spell which transplants the boy's soul into the skeletal remains of the murdered girl. The guards rush into the room as they discover the boy waking up in his monstrous body. The witch manages to escape, and the boy is doomed to live forever in the new body.
