Plot Summary
A young woman is a part of a resistance group. They are building an army against an oppressive government known as "the corporation". The woman never explains what the government does, but the resistance group must work secretly for fear of punishment. The rebel group initially began with five people, including the girl. They work in a small apartment, drafting poems and learning fighting skills. There, she meets a woman named Wave, who appears to be the group leader, and the girl begins to have a romantic relationship with her. The resistance group then starts recruiting people by going into the city. Approaching people that appeared dissatisfied with the government, they hand them a scrap of paper with a poem on it. The recruits decode the poem and find them at their secret base. At the secret base, they train the recruits, give them maps, or teach them any essential skills. They also go into the abandoned libraries and begin reading books to gather information. Using the knowledge gained from the libraries, they discover the patterns that the corporation rely on, as well as the map of the building. Using this newfound information, they start to plant bombs in the corporation. Even though living under the oppressive government is difficult, the woman is optimistic that they will succeed, no matter how long it takes.
