Plot Summary
Fred is a man living in an apocalyptic far future. He has dreams that involve him living in China, speeding on a completely empty 30-lane highway, falling down great heights–and they never stop. He is trapped in an infinite loop of dreams. It turns out that dreams allow people to travel through space and time, or so his friend Winston tells him in one of his dreams. He can’t stop the dreams from occurring, but he can delay them by injecting himself with speed. The loop continues and continues, offering him no way out.
