A wife living in a rural farmhouse has her three children, a daughter, a son, and a young child, pack suitcases. The woman is upset with her husband and plans to move to her parent's house with the children. As they are packing, the husband begs the wife not to go. The husband tells the wife that a cyclone will be coming and it will be too dangerous to travel. The daughter is excited to leave the house, but the son is not. The son begs the mom to stay because he likes the father. However, the mother remains firm in her decision to move.
The father then tells the woman it's unfair that she takes all the children and that he should keep the daughter so she can cook. The woman says that the children belong to her and that he deserves nothing. The husband retorts that he will have the farmhouse.
Just as they are about to leave, a storm picks up. The sky darkens, and rains start coming down. The woman doesn't have a car and is forced to postpone moving. When the rain stops and the sky clears, the daughter asks the mom if they will move. The mom reveals that they won't and tells her kids to unpack their suitcases. She admits that she has tried to leave the house three times, but each time something prevents her. The family then resumes life as usual.
