In an apocalyptic far future, a man is trapped in an infinite loop of dreams.

A five-year-old girl and her mother go into hiding with some less-than-savory friends at an upstate New York cabin. While there, the girl sees the ghosts of a past tragedy and, for the first time, confronts the insecurity and inexplicability of her own life.

Unable to sleep, a famous musician watches television and consults his friends and family in the middle of the night as a mystery torments him: who is the man calling his girlfriend and spreading lies about him, and what does he want?
