In the far future, a bicycle repairman is happy living in the undesired slums of the apartment complexes, even though his mother wants him to move back upstairs with her. His friend recently moved overseas to be with his lover, but strange packages addressed to him keep being mailed to the bike repair shop anyway. One day, the repairman opens one of the packages and uncovers an old TV with hilariously blunt commentary. He keeps it on. An undercover federal agent soon visits his shop and tries to flirt with him, and he is disoriented. Later that night, she tries to break in and steal the television, but she is throated and her cover blown. The bike repairman calls his friends to help him after he ties up the agent, and they discover her stash of military-grade weaponry in her pockets and on her body. She confesses her role in trying to stop a rogue artificial intelligence from becoming unhinged.
