When Lisa gets lost on a hiking trip through a foreign country, a village of beautiful people take her in from the wilderness. As she learns to live among them, she realizes that their relationship dynamics are vastly different from her own, and including overlapping homo-and-heterosexual couples. She enters relationships with two of the people she meets in the tribe and begins to build a life for herself, but she keeps remembering a man who she once loved back in America. When he comes to the village to find her, she has to decide whether to stay or return to a life in which they might not be together. As she goes to tell him her choice, they're interrupted by the return of the tribe's elders and youths, who reconnect with their families. Their reunion makes Lisa reconsider her relationship with her past lover.
