Plot Summary
A woman drinks her beverage at a bar and asks her husband if he thinks she is awful. The man explains that he does not think that. The woman goes on to ask her husband if he hates her and he denies that as well. The woman tries to explain that she didn't mean to fall for another man and her husband understands and tries to change the subject to no avail. The woman continues to question her husband about his feelings towards her and asks if they can remain friends, despite her cheating on him. The husband agrees and explains that he doesn't hate his wife, but that he is not particularly fond of her new lover. The woman repeatedly asks her husband if he hates her and he explains that he doesn't and orders another drink. The wife gets mad and warns him not to drink too much because she does not like to see him drunk. The husbands remarks that she's never seen him drunk. The woman says that she doesn't think he's ever loved her before and he agrees because he is tired of arguing with her. As they drink, the woman gets up to leave and asks her husband to walk her out of the bar. They say their goodbyes and the wife leaves. The husband returns to the bar, orders another drink, and admires the bar counter.
