Plot Summary
In the future, the towers terrorize people of color in surrounding lands by engineering the 10 plagues. Most recently, they have genetically engineered human-eating dragons from breeding frogs and kittens. Though the dragons are supposed to only eat humans involved in drug trafficking into the towers, it seems they have been trained to seek out humans with darker skin. However, the people have found a way to outsmart the towers: the dragons like collard greens with extra seasoning. If you feed them enough of it, then they are too stuffed to feed on humans! Eventually, the Towers learn of their tricks and ban collard greens. However, the people begin to use every other green available: kohlrabi, spinach, kale. Allies from all around begin shipping in different kinds of greens and seasoning to them to help out. Each time, more greens get banned--but they persist. Eventually, after several failed attempts, the towers decide to end the program and decommission (kill) the dragons. However, it's too late. The protagonist has already made friends with the leader of the dragons, Queen. With the dragons saddled up and ready to go, she takes them on a ride to destroy the towers and steal back the contraband they've lost.
