The Geneertech Corporation, one of the leading gene editing companies in a dystopian society, publishes an informational pamphlet that lays out the benefits of their new initiative, Daydreamer by Proxy, to interested recruits.

The satirical pamphlet cheerfully attempts to manipulate readers into believing the initiative, which includes drilling 25 holes on a host's back to allow a genetically-engineered reptile to bind to their spinal cord and brain, is a safe and sound bet. The procedure is designed to allow the parasite to daydream on behalf of the employee, so they are able to concentrate solely on their work.

Side effects are also discussed, in accordance with federal law, ranging from concerning detractions from health professional to absurd disruption to the host's sexual and martial life.
