Carolyn Ferrell is an American short story writer and novelist. Her debut novel, Dear Miss Metropolitan, was released in 2021 and was shortlisted for the PEN/Hemingway Award and the PEN Faulkner Award. Her work has appeared in The Literary ReviewCallalooFiction, and Sojourner: The Women’s Forum. She teaches writing at Sarah Lawrence College.
