The ex-wife of a famous male writer is now wedded to a man from Romania who also had previous lovers. She considers the life and work of the famous male writer she used to be married to, as well as a neighbor they once had. At first, the neighbor takes on an assuming part of their married life, but the ex-wife soon realizes that the neighbor has been the subject of a story that her ex-husband wrote. With this, she finally discovers the very real, yet subtle root of his material.
