Plot Summary
Abony and Trent are roadside service workers, and they have just stolen a Corvette from a drug dealer. Repossessed is actually their word of choice—apparently the car originally belonged to a big drug dealer in Miami, and a guy named Random had stolen it. The drug dealer was offering a hundred thousand dollars to anyone who would return it. So, after a few weeks of Abony convincing Trent, the two grabbed the car while Random was at the strip club and were off towards Miami.
Nervous, they are carefully making their way down from Chicago when the GPS tells them to take another route off the highway. They take the exit when they see a biker, waving his arms and yelling for them to stop and get back on the highway. They stop to talk to him when a semi swerves around them and clips the biker, knocking him unconscious and bloody. The duo are shook—they can't call 911 because they're in a stolen car, so they throw the biker into the trunk and decide to take him to the ER.
Scarily, the biker awakes and stops them. He tells them he's a wizard, that a lot of bikers are wizards, and proves it to them with a small summoning spell. He says that there are people trying to summon things using GPS or other apps to reroute people to drive traffic in a pattern to energize a spell. He asks them to take him to a bridge, where he's planning to blow it up to disrupt the flow of traffic and make it impossible to complete the spell.
Abony and Trent drive away from the bridge and see a flash of light—maybe the bridge or maybe a creature from another dimension getting through. Either way, they're still on their way to Miami.
