Recently broken up with, a forlorn lover reassembles the pieces of his life. Toby’s girlfriend, Sophie, swiftly and suddenly breaks up with him, executing this with a heavy, though determined, heart. She quickly changes her online status to single and reminds him that she will be back to gather her belongings. That leaves their fish, Bubbles, to be determined. Before he can even process this, however, another massive life-event occurs. The world literally turns upside down. Gravity violently reversed and people were shot upward, into ceilings if in a building, or into the atmosphere if not.

As this monumental shift occurs, he decides to save Bubbles. As he saving Bubbles, a woman calls out to him, and she is dangling for her life. Toby decides to reach for the fish instead of the woman, ensuring that if Sophie comes back, he will have Bubbles for him. However, Sophie does not come back, but instead he meets another person: a little girl, Dawnie. She was the daughter of the woman he didn’t save. Toby brings her along as he treks to Sophie, leaving Dawnie with two elderly women. When he arrives at Sophie’s place, he realizes she already had another man with her. He was crushed by the tub. Toby returns Bubbles and leaves.
