Street Moon is on a secret personal mission. She wants to get rid of her Tell. She fully remembers her old and only true love, Sly Sincere, and how they are no longer together. She is a top assassin, while Sly went off to marry another woman, Abeekay. Street wants to be able to kill them both. Street decides to visit an old acquaintance, Knowledge Lateef, a street priest in the City. She begs him to tell her of any scalpers, which are people who take out people's Tells illegally in underground labs. Taking out Tells results in immediate obliteration of the culprit. Unfortunately for Knowledge, he saw this happen to his lover years ago. Street still wants to take the risk and meets Iset the Protector to find a scalper to do the job. Iset leads them both to the lab to meet their mysterious operator. Street is then tranquilized and she has a very erotic dream in which she kills Sly, just like she wants. This will help her get over that obsession for a while and have her believe she did accomplish her mission. As she is asleep, Iset and Knowledge are talking and Iset brings in the scalper for Street: Abeekay.
