Brigitte finds herself attracted to Felix, the handsome, well-educated chief archaeologist in the company for which she works as a graphic designer. Of the many women pursuing him, she is the plainest and least assertive of them all.
At the company gala, tired of the women fawning over Felix, she leaves the party and takes a swim naked in a nearby lake alone. Taking in the scenery of Switzerland at sunset, she imagines what it must be like to live along with the men and women of the Stone Age, from which the skeletons and artifacts they unearthed come. In a moment of serenity, she arises from the lake, still naked, and makes a toast to Felix while the rest of the party watches in astonishment, and slips back into the water.
Shortly after the incident, Felix emails Brigitte complimenting on Brigitte's birthday suit, which he calls "the most beautiful dress." Brigitte, however, rejects Felix's advances and leaves the country, presumably in order to recover from the embarrassment of the incident. Months later, she sees Felix again on an archaeological dig, and, both desirous of one another, they fall into each other's arms passionately.
