Claire, an immortal being, is becoming sick of attending lavish parties where she is unable to eat, taste, or digest anything. When Byron, an older and wiser gentlemen comes along and challenges her to break rules the rules of this world, Claire finds herself hungering for love and believes that she's found a soulmate in Byron. Unfortunately, Byron and Claire lose contact with one another as the world they live in does not condone pleasure or happiness and Claire is forced to go through a prolonged period of solitude. Just as Bryon finds a way for them to be together, the world once again rips them apart and Claire is left for an eternity to search for him again.
