Kay works at a pig farm, a place that nobody wants to work, but she is desperate to support her younger siblings since her mom left the family. But one night on the job, a ghost enters her body and she brutally attacks a man in the parking lot, leading to her firing from the job. She goes home and lies to her friends, saying that she quit, but they all know that nobody quits the pig farm. The ghost makes her grow restless and impatient with her siblings, leading to several violent outburst with the kids. She breaks the family radio, and slowly becomes sicker. Her brother, Oscar threatens to leave the family too, but Kay calms him down. She begins to notice the youngest sibling, Mira seems to be haunted by a ghost too. The same violent, protective ghost that seems to have infected Kay and their mother. Lost on what to do, Kay goes back to the sacred pig farm and notices Mira trying to open one of the pens. She feels a strong urge to kill Mira, but knows the police are on their way. She reaches for a pig instead and attempts to quiet it and flee, but it was already too late.
