A man has been overcome with a desire to sire a baby to raise with his lover. His lover is skeptical because he is afraid of the homophobia in their society, but the man is not deterred.
He proceeds with his plans for the pregnancy, but his lover still seems wary, and the man believes it is because his lover's wife wants to convince him otherwise.
When the man visits the wife, he learns that she plans to be a university teacher and cannot have a child. Defeated, the man makes his way back to the city when he realizes his lover is laughing with another man. He misses the last train in his despair and goes back to his lover's home to ask for some food. He realizes that his lover does not care about their relationship as much as he does.
