Yoon Choi was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in Long Island, New York. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University (BA, MA) and Stanford University (MA). Her work has been published in New England Review and Michigan Quarterly Review, among others. It has also been recognized in contests run by Narrative Magazine and Glimmer Train Press.
