The woman is finally going on a trip with two of her friends despite all that has happened in the last year, like the woman’s mother’s worsening condition, the first friend’s breakdown, and the second friend’s fourth baby. They’ve had to cancel several times, and since then, the woman has felt cursed, but now they’re driving on the highway to their spa weekend. However, the first friend’s car starts to make strange noises and break down on the side of the road. The woman, wanting so badly to go to the Westbury Hotel and Spa, gets teary as the first friend calls an emergency service. They watch cars go by for the next four hours before an emergency worker comes.

After their car gets fixed, the three prepare to go. The woman worries about her mother, and her friends assure her. However, a car then slams right into their car and causes it to veer off the road. They then walk up to the gas station, a few miles up, to call for a taxi. While walking, a strange noise comes from behind them. They think it’s rain, but soon enough, it gets louder and louder, causing them to run. When they finally turn around, the woman sees a mass of things hurling toward them. She makes out the sign of the Westbury Hotel and Spa. Their dream vacation is now a giant creature moving toward them. They run, making it to the gas station, where they hide, but the Spa Weekend creature turns and makes its way toward them, crushing everything and everyone in its way.

The second friend thinks that they’re the reason why it’s coming. The woman agrees. The first friend says to call the police and run away, but the other two know it’s futile. The second friend says only they can fix everything. Together, the three walk toward it, hand-in-hand, and try to talk to it. Meanwhile, police helicopters come and urge them to back away, but the Spa Weekend creature soon destroys them. Quickly, the woman puts her hand up to the Spa Weekend creature and makes her way inside its steam room. The other friends go to other parts of it. Eventually, the Spa Weekend creature unfolds back into a normal hotel and spa. The three of them continue to have their dream vacation. The woman, who hasn’t stressed about her mother since everything has happened, finally relaxes.
