Plot Summary
Two aliens, Crysteel and Danstor land in Little Milton, a city in Britain. Their mission is to find someone of authority to speak to and find information about Earth. They believe they have practiced enough English from listening to radio programs and watching TV, but they soon find that they're mistaken. They are in wacky getup and can barely hold a conversation with anyone. The two go around from house to house trying to talk to people about Earth and everyone either laughs at them or slams the door in their faces. On the verge of giving up, they come across P.C. Hinks, a policeman, who they think will help them immensely. Instead, P.C. Hinks brings the two to the police station and locks them up while he calls the local mental institution. Once Crysteel and Danstor realize they're in a prison, they begin chatting with their cellmate, Graham. Graham is in jail for partying too hard and being belligerently drunk and high. Crysteel and Danstor tell Graham that they've just landed on Earth in a spaceship and he believes them, so they all break out of the jail together. Graham leads them to his car and they drive back to the spaceship. Graham then becomes Ambassador Graham, "humanity’s representative to the universe at large".
