In 2041, the world is ravaged by malware. Luckily, two powerful tycoons with opposing solutions emerge as saviors. While Devon Ames advocates for a return to a simpler, more natural world, Harry Pinchit prefers machines and the power they have to offer. Despite fighting for opposite causes, both men achieve great success and build vast empires of wealth.
Years later, at the wedding of Devon’s vain and beautiful daughter Glory, tragedy strikes. Cyborgs destroy the security cameras and attack the guests. Glory’s groom is murdered along with many others. The motives of the machines are unclear until Harry’s only son is revealed to be the perpetrator.
Warren, Harry’s son, has spent his life manipulating his father. In order to get what he wanted, Warren exploited and blew Harry’s trivial feud with Devon out of proportion. He installed malware into Harry’s being and forced his father to wage war against the Ames family so that he could take Glory as his own wife.
Warren’s plan succeeds. He “saves” and marries Glory. He tricks everyone into despising his blood-hungry father, who he had killed at Glory’s first wedding. But Warren, it turns out, is not as clever as he believes himself to be. Multiple people, including his own wife, know what he did and who he really is.
