Plot Summary
Charlie, a former drug addict, is trapped as the barkeep and drug dealer for Cleveland’s largest mob. Every week he goes to see his friend Fender, a well-established drug supplier and dealer. This time, Fender has a new drug called Y, straight from China. This is the rarest drug on the market since it’s made with the bone powder of one distinct Chinese dinosaur. For Fender, this is a big sell, and for Charlie, this is the biggest temptation he’s faced since his old cocaine days. But his former addiction is what got him in this mess in the first place, and he's able to resist for now.
Charlie works with Theresa, Fender’s little sister, another former drug addict. Despite having mutual feelings for each other, he knows better than to risk it all with his best friend’s little sister. As the night goes on Ramzen and Zakir, the top dogs in Cleveland’s biggest mob and Charlie's boss, ask about Fender and his latest score of the Y. As Charlie feigns partial ignorance, the two left with an ominous message. Hours later, a detective informs Charlie and Theresa that Fender had been killed for his supply of the Y. Dazed by the news, the two spend the night with each other and after leaving her apartment, Charlie discovers that Fender had slipped his entire supply of the notorious drug into his bookbag.
His willpower slips, and he learns why this drug is worth 10k a line. But later at his job, Zakir stops in to make an exchange, the Y for Theresa's life. Charlie reluctantly agrees, but come time for the trade, Theresa backstabs him and was working with Zakir. All for a hit of the rarest drug on the market. Unfortunately for them, Charlie gave them something much stronger than they asked for.
