Plot Summary
Margaret, a grieving mother, repeatedly trespasses on a military base in an attempt to take pictures of dead bodies that return from combat on a plane. She had lost her son, James, to cancer. Every time she trespasses, the security guards fine her. One day, when a guard approaches her, she pretends to pass out. When the guard approaches Margaret to help her, she bites his hand. For this, she is placed in a detention center. Margaret's husband and daughter, Caroline, come to the base to retrieve her. Caroline, a millionaire who works in the Financial District, does not understand Margaret's motivations as an activist or protestor. Margaret says she is just trying to "do something", but she doesn't even know to whom she would show the photos. Margaret returns to the base to find the guard she bit but reflects on the fact that he, too, is only trying to do something. She returns home.
