Aliens land in an 1890 south Texas town. At first, the townspeople believe a meteor hit a ranch killing cattle and creating a big hole in the ground. A day later, the townspeople find out that it was not a meteor but an alien spaceship with a heater fire gun. The aliens then start to burn up ranches and kill cattle. Sheriff Lindley and his four deputies spring into action to protect the lives of the town's people. Using guns and dynamite, the sheriff and his deputies destroy the heat gun and blow up the spaceship, killing the aliens. Twenty-four hours later, another meteor lands nearby. A giant mechanical robot with three legs and tentacles attacks the town this time and begins to fire a heat gun, burning the wooden structures in the town. The sheriff takes down the robot with an old canon, leading to the humans defeating the aliens.
