Marie takes her heartbroken sister, Seline, to see a psychic. The psychic tells Seline to move on and tells Marie to listen to everything her Aunt Alice says. This is odd because Aunt Alice has been in an old folks home for many years due to dementia, and usually what she says doesn't make much sense. Marie visits and Alice says "Mississippi Mud Pie" which Marie doesn't understand. That night, she dreams she's at her sister's wedding and the groom boasts that he met Seline at a buffet 3 years ago in 2017 (the year Marie is having this dream). When Marie wakes up Seline admits that yesterday she met a man when they split the last Mississippi Mud Pie at the buffet and she gave him her number. Next, Aunt Alice and the dreams show Marie painting again, and soon she receives an acceptance to an art school that she doesn't remember applying to. Then, Marie gets a call that her aunt has pneumonia and may die soon. She rushes to her and dreams that her aunt and deceased mother wake her up in a crib, Aunt Alice tells her goodbye. When Marie wakes up, her aunt is dead but peaceful.
