Plot Summary
Jack is a bartender at a joint he owns, but more importantly, he's a protective older brother constantly saving his little sibling, Mitch, from the trouble he gets himself into. When two gangsters show up to collect on some money, Jack knows his brother must've done something. Mitch robbed a casino owner and gangster, killing two men in the process, and now armed thugs are after him. Jack makes a dangerous deal with them - if he can locate Mitch in an hour and force him to return the stolen money, in exchange they must let his brother live. Skeptically, the gangsters follow Jack on his quest to track down his sibling. Jack visits another bar, only to sneak into the men's room and grab the firearm his friend concealed for him there. He has tricked the gangsters. He knows exactly where Mitch is - holed up in the carcass of the warehouse where Jack once worked to make his dreams come true, a warehouse Mitch burned down and robbed. At last, Jack takes the gangsters to the warehouse. When they discover Mitch living there, they request he turn over the money. After Mitch complies, one of the gangsters pulls his gun, intending to violate his agreement with Jack. Jack shoots him to death. Ignoring the second gangster's pleas, Jack kills him too, and finally, kills his own brother. Jack knew Mitch would only find another way of ruining his life, and now that Jack's a killer, he can't risk his wayward brother's interference. He takes the stolen money for himself and sets out to find a new home where the gangsters will never catch up to him.
