Azam Ahmad belongs to a Pashtun farmer family. He learns from commander Farhad that Americans accidentally killed their own soldiers in an airstrike in Khakrez District, Afganistan. Farhad asks him to bring the bodies of Americans to him so that he can win favors with his American friends.
Azam goes to the district owner Raheem Gul to bring the dead bodies but Raheem refuses and says that they don’t deserve to be buried.
Azam, out of respect and as a good Muslim, reclaims the bodies of the dead Americans. The Americans put the dead bodies in the truck and drive away to the base.
Azam realizes that his wife will scold him for what he has done.
