Reality and fantasy converge as LARPing enthusiasts come together for a large-scale event called a fest. Taylor is a member of a four person Ragtag party with Harv, Gwen, and Drew. In the game, Drew and Gwen play a couple in love, but in real life they're going through a messy breakup. Taylor struggles with seeing his boyfriend, Spencer, part of another party, roleplay love and romance with someone else. The relationship between Drew and Gwen deteriorates as well, in part due to the presence of Drew’s toddler. As the game deepens, so do the relationships between party members. Taylor ultimately betrays his group in an attempt to make it up to Spencer at the climax of fest. Spencer and Taylor leave together and drive home.
