All species have a unique way of making books and preserving their writing.
The Allatians are a group of musical people who prefer to write through their noses, causing grooves on the surface. Every time an Allatian wants to read, they place their nose on the grooves and drag all the way through, playing the text like a record player.
The Quatzoli’s have bodies made of copper. They contain a stone organ that acts as their brain, it contains several tiny channels for water to flow through to store memories. The Quatzoli’s pass on their wisdom and ready thoughts to the new born child. Quatzoli consider themselves as books and store every written thought in their brain.
In lieu of writing, the Hesperoe just store the minds of great Kings to pass on their cultural legacy.
The Tull Toks do not write at all and only prefer reading. They believe there is nothing in this universe that can’t be read, they think that the stars also have text on them.
And the Car’uee are writers and readers of the very small scale.
