During the Spanish flu epidemic in 1918, a young boy is left alone so his family can be treated in their town’s makeshift hospital. The boy tries his best to hold down the fort and prove his manhood, though the people around him make it more difficult than he expected.

An African woman who works for a wealthy movie director must survive his questionable whims when a deadly pandemic forces them to quarantine in his mansion.

When a mysterious orange ball rolls through town, everybody does their best to ignore, but when curious children get a hold of it – the town spirals into sickness. Soon enough, all the town’s children have turned into the same orange ball that infected them, and the town struggles to find itself again.
