Shanteka Sigers is an American writer. A graduate from Northwestern University and New York University in Paris, Sigers has worked as a marketing strategist, an executive creative director, and a consultant for Meta and other Fortune 500 companies. She has also lectured at the University of Texas, Austin. Her short story "A Way With Bea" was originally published in Paris Review in 2020, was later included in The Best American Short Stories 2021, and won an O. Henry Prize.
